Elena says a lot of stuff which she doesn’t follow through with so don’t worry

  2. In 2x01/2x05 - “It’s always going to be Stefan”, “It’s you and me always, Stefan” - in 3x22 “I can’t think about always”
  3. Throughout Season 1 and 2 - “I love Stefan” - in 2x20 “To be honest, I don’t really know what love is”
  4. In 3x02/3x10/3x16 - “We can’t leave Damon”, “I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t here”, “No matter what I do I can’t shake him” - in 3x22 “I have to let you go” (i know *sobbing*)
  5. In 3x22 - “Maybe if you and I had met first” - Even after knowing that they did meet first she’s still gonna be with Stefan in Season 4 for a while right?
  6. In 2x01 - “I’m surprised you thought I’d kiss you back” - That turned out to be the biggest lie on this planet.
  7. In 3x11/3x12 - “You can’t kiss me again”, “He kissed me! It’s not gonna happen again.” - Ya right! queue 3x19
  8. In 2x01 - “There’s nothing good about him” - in 3x19 “Why don’t you let people see the good in you?”

Sooo..it’s safe to say Elena changes her mind A LOT! I don’t take what she says too seriously cos it’s a love TRIANGLE so she’s gonna oscillate between the two of them regardless of who she’s with at that point of time. I don’t blame her, she’s only 18. I can’t even decide which pair of shoes to wear let alone who I’m gonna spend an eternity with! She needs to grow up, go to college and become a proper woman before she makes any kind of solid decision. Being a vampire is gonna help her mature like it helped Caroline. She became a completely different person-strong,confident and sure of herself. She stopped comparing herself to Elena. Maybe Elena’s personality will change too. She may become more reckless, a lil darker. She’s gonna crave danger, passion n adventure and all the stuff Damon can provide so her decision will change again. Her decision will not be set in stone till the last episode of the show. Right now Delena has hit rock bottom,so it can only go up from here! Stelena fans are the ones who should worry and wait for the other shoe to drop. So stay positive DErs!!
